Our chapter is very proud of our Patriot ancestors. The following list features individuals that served during the American Revolution and to whom the current Fort Defiance Chapter, NSDAR, members can trace their lineage.

Gravesite Dedication for William John Collins September 17, 1988
William John Collins, served under Captain Benjamin Schonover in the 2nd Company in the Northampton County Militia of Pennsylvania. He was buried in 1848 in the Old Evansport Cemetery. He is the only known Revolutionary soldier to be buried in Defiance County. One of his descendants is a current member.
